What makes Steptron Technologies very unique is our end product; Machine specific, visually engineered Placards with associated tags defining all Lockout Tagout procedures for each piece of equipment, process or manufacturing related. In terms of procedures, Steptron Technologies has two offerings; Zero Energy or Controlled Access. In terms of production products, we have multiple options described below.

Zero Energy Placards:

Zero energy placards provide our clients with a visual map as to how to de-energize and re-energize equipment to 100% for performing sanitation or maintenance.  A sample is as follows:

Controlled Access Placards:

Steptron Technologies was the first to introduce the Controlled Access methodology to the market.  With Controlled Access, we are able to isolate specific energy lockout points so the equipment does not need to be completely brought to Zero Energy, thus increasing productivity significantly. Our Manufacturing products:
Steptron Technologies uses some of the clearest laminate in the industry and has an added special UVA inhibitor that blocks harmful sun rays. The laminating UV roll film allows colors to retain their original vibrancy, also works great indoors against damaging fluorescent and sodium-vapor lighting. Prints last up to 500% longer with this procedure.

For specialized industries that require the use of harsh chemicals and heat for sanitation, Steptron has developed a proprietary product that has been tested in actual client facilities using harsh chemicals and heat.

Machine attachment Options:

Given the situation in your facility, you may need options for securing placards to your equipment.  When Steptron conducts a facility survey, they review our client’s environment and discuss options.  Adhesive options include:

• Sticky back adhesive
• Foam adhesive
• Grommet with tie wraps
• Special sealants for clients in high sanitation environments
